About Me

Hi everyone I’m Trey Markel.  I am VP of Enterprise/Government Relations for iBank.com, an online matchmaking service for small businesses and their business needs.  I also manage Credentrust Software which is a SaaS (software as a service) solution for credit departments that process credit applications.  I have been working with iBank and Credentrust for a little over 3 years.  iBank is directly in the middle of the business loan sector so I try to talk to small businesses about access to capital.  iBank.com is a family owned business and in it being so, I have the opportunity to really know and understand what it’s like to be in a small, family owned, cash strapped, startup business.  I enjoy sharing this experience because I think it’s an important one.  Every business has to go through it and let me tell you………..it’s tough.  Some of my favorite things to do while I’m not working are surf and travel.  Love to surf.  I grew up in Southern California playing water polo, swimming, and surfing.  During the winter the family and I like to hit the Canadian mountains for a bit of skiing and snowboarding.  I love to read books that teach me something about life from someone elses point of view.  I think people are wonderful and make the world go-round.  Anyway, that’s a bit about me.  You can also connect with me on:
